We enjoy creating web design for construction companies that need a professional site without making updates difficult. We build WordPress websites that are fast, easy to use, and simple for clients to manage. Whether you are adding project photos, updating services, publishing a blog, or making other everyday changes, we keep the editing process straightforward. As we often say, if you can use Microsoft Word and order a pizza online, you can update your site.
Potential customers often visit your website before they ever call or request a quote, so that first impression matters. We work closely with you throughout the project to create a site that reflects your company, showcases your work, and makes it easy for visitors to learn about your services and take the next step.
Since 2010, we have been designing websites for clients in countless industries. Our work includes web design for construction companies, small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations throughout the United States.
Some websites are fun to build. Some are special because of the people behind them. This one is both.
PrePlayed was our very first client when Full Scope Creative started in 2010. Paul trusted us in the early days. We have worked together ever since. That means a lot to us.
When it was time to refresh preplayedgb.com for 2026, we were excited to get started.
The goal was simple. Make the site look better. Make it easier to use. Make it easier to update.
Paul had a few clear goals.
He wanted the site to look better on phones and tablets. He wanted a smoother user experience. He also wanted to update the top banner more easily when he had store announcements.
PrePlayed has grown over the years. They now sell vinyl records and cassette tapes. They carry games for all major systems. The website needed to show all of that clearly.
We rebuilt the site using the newest version of Elementor. We used flex containers and a cleaner layout system. This let us remove old tables and dated design pieces.
The new layout feels open and organized. It works well on every screen size. It is also much easier for Paul to manage.
This project was not just about looks.
We cleaned up the backend of the site. We removed plugins that were no longer needed. Fewer plugins help a site run faster and stay more secure.
We updated the site structure using newer tools inside Elementor. This improved how pages load and how they adjust on mobile devices.
We also added extra security features to protect the site.
The result is a faster, cleaner, and more stable website.
The PrePlayed website supports real store activity.
We built custom forms so customers can request items to be added to a reserve list. When items come in, the store can contact them. This connects the website directly to the in-store experience.
We also added an employment form to make hiring easier.
The updated content clearly explains what PrePlayed buys and sells, including:
The site keeps the fun feel customers expect while staying clean and easy to use.
This project means more than just a redesign.
PrePlayed has been with us since day one. From our first website together in 2010 to this new build for 2026, we have grown side by side.
We believe in long-term partnerships. We do not disappear after launch. We continue to support, improve, and protect the websites we build.
The new preplayedgb.com is ready for the future. And we are proud to still be part of their story.

From start to finish, I was pleased with the professionalism, promptness, and turn around time for my website Green Bay Doulas- it’s brought my business to the next level. Chris is wonderful to work with and I would suggest Full Scope Creative to anyone looking to elevate their website to the next level.

At Full Scope Creative, we handle the full scope of your project, including website design, development, copywriting, hosting, SEO, maintenance, photography, and security. For web design for construction companies, that means you can work with one team for the website itself and many of the services that help support and market it over time.
All of our Green Bay web designs are fully responsive and mobile friendly. Whether a user is looking at your website on a desktop computer or a tablet or smartphone, we make sure your site will look great and function flawlessly.
Our sites are built around a set goal – such as increasing sales, building brand awareness, or showcasing your expertise.
Our sites are built using WordPress, so you can easily make updates to any content at any time.
If for any reason you don’t want to or can’t make content updates to your site, we can make those updates for you.
With our Security Essentials Hosting plan, Full Scope Creative makes sure that your site is both running the most up-to-date software and is as safe and secure as possible.
We can easily add in features such as shopping carts, restaurant menus, photo galleries, staff directory, job applications, etc.
Our sites can easily be expanded to fit new business goals and needs. If we need to add in any additional features six months or a year (or more) after your site is launched, we can do so without a problem.
We will submit your site to leading search engines and help with search engine optimization (SEO) in order to get your site the best ranking possible.
We’ve worked with a wide variety of industries, from restaurants to HR services to retail stores to coffee shops to law offices and more.
Whether your website is an online store or a straightforward informational site, it needs to work well on every screen size. Many visitors will be viewing it from a phone or tablet, so every site we build is fully responsive and designed to stay easy to use across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. We pay attention to navigation, buttons, forms, images, and loading speed so visitors can move through the site without frustration.
We cover the full scope of the project: design, development, copy writing, hosting, SEO, maintenance, photography, and security.
Your website content should explain what you do, speak clearly to your audience, and support your SEO goals. Every project starts with keyword research so we can understand what potential customers are searching for and build content around those terms. If you already have content, we can refine it so it is easier to read, better organized, and more useful for both visitors and search engines.
Our hosting plans are built to keep your website secure, updated, and running smoothly. Security Essentials Hosting includes SSL, WordPress updates, backups, security monitoring, and support when you need it. You also get help from a US-based team that knows your website. If something comes up, you can call, email, send us a message, or even try a smoke signal.
A website should not be something you launch and then forget about. With our Web Design For Construction Companies, we build sites that are easy to update as your business changes. Whether you need to add new project photos, update services, publish a blog post, or change content, you can handle many updates yourself. If you would rather have us make the changes, we can help with that too.
Your business has its own services, customers, and way of doing things, and your website should reflect that. We work closely with you from the first questionnaire through design revisions, content approvals, and launch so the finished site feels like a true fit for your company. The goal is a website that looks professional, is easy to use, and gives potential customers a clear reason to contact you.
Strong photography can make a noticeable difference in how professional your website feels. For construction companies, that can include finished project photos, jobsite images, team photos, equipment, or work in progress. We pay attention to composition, backgrounds, and how each image will be used throughout the site so the photography supports the design and helps potential customers get a better feel for your work.
Launching the site is only the beginning. We can continue supporting your Web Design For Construction Companies project with ongoing SEO services based on your goals and budget. That can include keyword research, new content, internal linking, on-page improvements, and other updates that strengthen the site over time. The focus is not simply more traffic, but helping the right potential customers find your business.
Our web design for construction companies projects start with learning about your business, your services, and the customers you want to reach. We ask questions up front so we can better understand your goals, your industry, and what makes your company different. That information helps guide both the design of the site and the keyword research behind it.
Contact us today to get started. We’ll talk through your goals, walk you through our design process, and recommend the best approach for your site. Whether it’s a quick call or an in-person meeting (coffee’s on us), we’ll share ideas and next steps to create a website that’s effective, user-friendly, and built to grow with your business.
From choosing the right layout to planning content that connects, we know website design can come with a lot of questions. These are some of the most common topics our team helps small businesses understand when it comes to building a great site.
Yes — when you build your site with WordPress, you do own the content you upload: the text, images, videos, pages and posts you create are yours. When you use the self-hosted version (WordPress.org), you’ve got full control over content and hosting.
The most vulnerable parts of a WordPress website are usually the plugins, themes, and login pages. Outdated or abandoned plugins and themes can open security holes that hackers target. Weak passwords make login attacks easier. Poor hosting setups or unsafe file permissions also create risks. Regular updates, strong passwords, and secure hosting go a long way in keeping your site safe.
If your WordPress site is stuck in maintenance mode, it usually means the update process was interrupted and the .maintenance file was never removed. The quickest way to fix it is to access your site files, locate the .maintenance file in your root directory, delete it, and then refresh your website.
The “five golden rules of web design” boil down to making your site instantly clear about what you do, designing it in a way that guides users effortlessly, keeping your brand styling consistent, using strong calls-to-action, and ensuring your site loads quickly. Bonus: integrating foundational SEO practices ensures your great design actually gets seen.
Most small business websites should start with a homepage, About page, Services or Products page, and Contact page. From there, you may want to add individual service pages, a blog, case studies, FAQs, and other pages based on your goals. There is no exact number that works for every website.
A WordPress designer is focused on the look, feel, layout and user experience of your site—how it presents your brand and draws people in. A WordPress developer, on the other hand, builds the functionality behind the scenes (custom themes/plugins, performance, security, integrations) so the site works smoothly. Both roles matter: you don’t want something that looks amazing but breaks, and you don’t want something that works perfectly but looks dated or confusing.
Web design and SEO are closely connected, but they are not the same thing. Web design focuses on how a site looks, functions, and guides users, while SEO focuses on helping people find the site through search engines. They work best when planned together, but each serves a different role.
WordPress is the best platform for most small businesses because it offers full control, simple updates, strong SEO potential, and room to grow. You are not locked into templates or limited features like you are with Squarespace or Wix. WordPress supports your business long term and adapts as your needs change.
Yes, WordPress is still one of the best options for building a small business website. It offers flexibility, full ownership of your content, strong SEO features, and easy customization. With the right hosting and ongoing maintenance, WordPress can serve your business well for years to come.
The main disadvantages of WordPress include security risks if it is not updated, frequent updates that require attention, and the potential for plugin conflicts. These issues typically occur when a site is neglected. With regular updates, proper security tools, and careful plugin management, WordPress remains a strong and dependable platform.
The three second rule in web design means visitors should instantly understand what your business does and why they should stay within just a few seconds of landing on your site. Clear messaging, strong visuals, and easy navigation help make that quick first impression. If users have to think too long, they’ll likely move on to another site.
