Full Scope Creative is a small business web designer Green Bay businesses can turn to for websites that look good, work well, and are built with a clear plan. For over 15 years, we have helped small businesses and nonprofits create websites by listening to their goals, learning about their industry, and building sites with design, SEO, and long-term support in mind.
One of our greatest passions at Full Scope Creative is helping small businesses, startups, and nonprofits build better websites. As a small business web designer Green Bay businesses can turn to, we know a website needs to do more than look nice. It should help people understand who you are, what you offer, and why they should contact you.
Our web design process starts with listening. We want to learn about your business, your goals, your customers, and what you need the website to do. From there, we build a site that looks good, loads well, works on phones, and is set up with SEO in mind.
We also know your day is busy. You should not have to call your web designer every time you need to change a few words, add a photo, post a blog, update a product, or add a video. That is why we build websites that are easy to update and easy to manage.
As we often say, if you can use Microsoft Word and order a pizza online, you have the skills needed to update your site.
Customers are checking out your business online before they call, email, or stop in. Your website needs to make the right first impression. With each website design project, we work with you throughout the process so the final site feels like your business, works well for your visitors, and gives you a strong place to send people online.

instead of paying a developer for every text, photo, staff, service, or content update.
Every business needs something a little different from its website. That’s why we offer three website design options based on the level of design, content, and marketing support you need. Whether you start with our Premium Framework or choose a fully custom website, you’ll know what’s included and what your investment looks like from the start.
A portfolio should show more than nice-looking websites. It should show real work for real businesses. Take a look at a few websites we have built for small businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations in Green Bay and beyond. Each project had its own goals, its own style, and its own needs.
Since 2010, we have designed websites for many types of small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations. Some are right here in Green Bay. Others are across Wisconsin or in other parts of the country. Each business has different goals, which is why we take time to learn what the site needs to do before we start building it.
Some websites are fun to build. Some are special because of the people behind them. This one is both.
PrePlayed was our very first client when Full Scope Creative started in 2010. Paul trusted us in the early days. We have worked together ever since. That means a lot to us.
When it was time to refresh preplayedgb.com for 2026, we were excited to get started.
The goal was simple. Make the site look better. Make it easier to use. Make it easier to update.
Paul had a few clear goals.
He wanted the site to look better on phones and tablets. He wanted a smoother user experience. He also wanted to update the top banner more easily when he had store announcements.
PrePlayed has grown over the years. They now sell vinyl records and cassette tapes. They carry games for all major systems. The website needed to show all of that clearly.
We rebuilt the site using the newest version of Elementor. We used flex containers and a cleaner layout system. This let us remove old tables and dated design pieces.
The new layout feels open and organized. It works well on every screen size. It is also much easier for Paul to manage.
This project was not just about looks.
We cleaned up the backend of the site. We removed plugins that were no longer needed. Fewer plugins help a site run faster and stay more secure.
We updated the site structure using newer tools inside Elementor. This improved how pages load and how they adjust on mobile devices.
We also added extra security features to protect the site.
The result is a faster, cleaner, and more stable website.
The PrePlayed website supports real store activity.
We built custom forms so customers can request items to be added to a reserve list. When items come in, the store can contact them. This connects the website directly to the in-store experience.
We also added an employment form to make hiring easier.
The updated content clearly explains what PrePlayed buys and sells, including:
The site keeps the fun feel customers expect while staying clean and easy to use.
This project means more than just a redesign.
PrePlayed has been with us since day one. From our first website together in 2010 to this new build for 2026, we have grown side by side.
We believe in long-term partnerships. We do not disappear after launch. We continue to support, improve, and protect the websites we build.
The new preplayedgb.com is ready for the future. And we are proud to still be part of their story.
Since 2010, Full Scope Creative has helped small businesses and nonprofits build websites and marketing materials that make sense for their goals. Based in Green Bay, we help with website design, hosting, SEO, graphic design, and long-term support. We keep the process clear, practical, and easy to understand so our clients know what is being done and why it matters.
A new website does not always need to start from a blank screen. As a small business web designer Green Bay companies can work with, we know that some projects need a strong starting point instead of a full custom design from the ground up. Our Premium Frameworks give small businesses and nonprofits a professional website layout that can be adjusted to fit their business.
We can update the colors, photos, content, pages, and layout so the site still feels like your own. This can be a great fit for new businesses, nonprofits, or smaller organizations that want a well-built website without going through a full custom design process.
Starting at $4,000
When comparing website design and hosting companies in Green Bay, there can be a real advantage to having one team handle both. The company that builds your website already understands how it works, which can make hosting, updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing support much simpler.
It also means you have one place to turn when something goes wrong. Instead of wondering whether an issue is related to the website, hosting, WordPress, or a plugin, you can contact the same team that built and manages the site. That can save time, reduce confusion, and make ongoing website management much easier for your business.
All of our Green Bay web designs are fully responsive and mobile friendly. Whether a user is looking at your website on a desktop computer or a tablet or smartphone, we make sure your site will look great and function flawlessly.
Our sites are built around a set goal – such as increasing sales, building brand awareness, or showcasing your expertise.
Our sites are built using WordPress, so you can easily make updates to any content at any time.
If for any reason you don’t want to or can’t make content updates to your site, we can make those updates for you.
With our Security Essentials Hosting plan, Full Scope Creative makes sure that your site is both running the most up-to-date software and is as safe and secure as possible.
We can easily add in features such as shopping carts, restaurant menus, photo galleries, staff directory, job applications, etc.
Our sites can easily be expanded to fit new business goals and needs. If we need to add in any additional features six months or a year (or more) after your site is launched, we can do so without a problem.
We will submit your site to leading search engines and help with search engine optimization (SEO) in order to get your site the best ranking possible.
We’ve worked with a wide variety of industries, from restaurants to HR services to retail stores to coffee shops to law offices and more.
A small business website needs to work well on phones. Many people will visit your site from a phone before they ever see it on a desktop computer. If the site is hard to read, slow to load, or hard to move around, they may leave and look somewhere else.
That is why every website we build is responsive and mobile-friendly. The site should adjust from desktop to tablet to phone without making people pinch, zoom, or hunt for the information they need.
If you are looking for a mobile web designer Green Bay small businesses can work with, Full Scope Creative can help build a site that looks good and works well on different screen sizes. That includes informational websites, e-commerce websites, and sites with blogs, forms, photo galleries, videos, and more.
We cover the full scope of the project: design, development, copy writing, hosting, SEO, maintenance, photography, and security.
Your website’s content should do more than just exist—it should tell your story and boost SEO. Every project starts with keyword research, ensuring your content aligns with your business goals and search rankings. We carefully weave your main keywords throughout your site, creating content that engages your audience and improves your visibility. Already have content? We’ll refine and optimize it to make sure it performs its best in search engines and resonates with your customers.
We offer more than just hosting—we provide peace of mind. Our hosting plans cover everything from SSL certificates to system updates, backups, and security monitoring. Our Security Essentials Hosting keeps your site running smoothly and securely. Best of all, you’ll never deal with frustrating overseas support. If you need help, just call, email, send a message on social media—or even a smoke signal—and we’ll be there to fix it right away!
A website should never be a “set it and forget it” project. From updating photos to publishing blogs, there’s always room for improvement. With our WordPress Green Bay website design, you’ll have the tools to manage updates easily. Not sure how? No problem! Whether you need guidance or just want us to handle updates for you, we’re here to help so your site stays fresh and effective.
Your business isn’t generic—your website shouldn’t be either. Every site we design is customized to fit your brand, audience, and goals. From the initial questionnaire to design revisions, content approvals, and final launch, we work closely with you every step of the way. Our goal? A website that reflects your business perfectly, performs well in search rankings, and converts visitors into customers.
Great photos can make or break your website. Stock images often feel impersonal, and low-quality photos don’t do your brand justice. We offer professional website photography to capture images that are polished, engaging, and tailored to your site’s design. Whether it’s product shots, team photos, or action shots, we focus on composition, background, and storytelling to ensure your visuals enhance your site’s impact.
Your website isn’t just a digital brochure—it’s a tool for growth. Once your site is live, we can continue improving your online presence with our monthly SEO services, customized to fit your goals and budget. From keyword optimization to content strategy, we help you climb the search rankings and attract the right audience. A well-optimized site doesn’t just get clicks—it gets results.
From choosing the right layout to planning content that connects, we know website design can come with a lot of questions. These are some of the most common topics our team helps small businesses understand when it comes to building a great site.
WordPress is the best platform for most small businesses because it offers full control, simple updates, strong SEO potential, and room to grow. You are not locked into templates or limited features like you are with Squarespace or Wix. WordPress supports your business long term and adapts as your needs change.
Most small business websites should start with a homepage, About page, Services or Products page, and Contact page. From there, you may want to add individual service pages, a blog, case studies, FAQs, and other pages based on your goals. There is no exact number that works for every website.
The most vulnerable parts of a WordPress website are usually the plugins, themes, and login pages. Outdated or abandoned plugins and themes can open security holes that hackers target. Weak passwords make login attacks easier. Poor hosting setups or unsafe file permissions also create risks. Regular updates, strong passwords, and secure hosting go a long way in keeping your site safe.
The three second rule in web design means visitors should instantly understand what your business does and why they should stay within just a few seconds of landing on your site. Clear messaging, strong visuals, and easy navigation help make that quick first impression. If users have to think too long, they’ll likely move on to another site.
The biggest limitations of using a website builder include limited control over website speed, fewer SEO options, unexpected costs, and restrictions on customization. Some website builders also make it difficult to move your website to another hosting provider. While platforms like Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy Website Builder can work well for small businesses, they may limit what you can change or improve as your business grows. WordPress with Elementor offers more flexibility and control, especially when properly built and maintained.
If your WordPress site is stuck in maintenance mode, it usually means the update process was interrupted and the .maintenance file was never removed. The quickest way to fix it is to access your site files, locate the .maintenance file in your root directory, delete it, and then refresh your website.
When it comes to a successful website design, one of the most important elements is ensuring the visitor’s needs are met — meaning your site is clear, usable, and aligned with what your audience is trying to accomplish. If users can’t quickly understand your value, find what they’re looking for, or take action, the rest of the design falls short. Strong visuals, smart navigation, and mobile responsiveness all play a role, but they support this core goal.
A WordPress designer is focused on the look, feel, layout and user experience of your site—how it presents your brand and draws people in. A WordPress developer, on the other hand, builds the functionality behind the scenes (custom themes/plugins, performance, security, integrations) so the site works smoothly. Both roles matter: you don’t want something that looks amazing but breaks, and you don’t want something that works perfectly but looks dated or confusing.
The Web 2.0 technique refers to how websites evolved from static pages into interactive, user-driven hubs where visitors can share, comment and engage — today’s successful sites rely on this mindset.
Orphaned content in WordPress is any page or post with no internal links pointing to it — meaning neither visitors nor search engines easily find it, which weakens SEO and wastes the effort spent creating it.
The “five golden rules of web design” boil down to making your site instantly clear about what you do, designing it in a way that guides users effortlessly, keeping your brand styling consistent, using strong calls-to-action, and ensuring your site loads quickly. Bonus: integrating foundational SEO practices ensures your great design actually gets seen.
