Since 2010, we have been designing websites for clients in countless industries. We have worked with amazing clients in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and throughout the United States.
Some websites are fun to build. Some are special because of the people behind them. This one is both.
PrePlayed was our very first client when Full Scope Creative started in 2010. Paul trusted us in the early days. We have worked together ever since. That means a lot to us.
When it was time to refresh preplayedgb.com for 2026, we were excited to get started.
The goal was simple. Make the site look better. Make it easier to use. Make it easier to update.
Paul had a few clear goals.
He wanted the site to look better on phones and tablets. He wanted a smoother user experience. He also wanted to update the top banner more easily when he had store announcements.
PrePlayed has grown over the years. They now sell vinyl records and cassette tapes. They carry games for all major systems. The website needed to show all of that clearly.
We rebuilt the site using the newest version of Elementor. We used flex containers and a cleaner layout system. This let us remove old tables and dated design pieces.
The new layout feels open and organized. It works well on every screen size. It is also much easier for Paul to manage.
This project was not just about looks.
We cleaned up the backend of the site. We removed plugins that were no longer needed. Fewer plugins help a site run faster and stay more secure.
We updated the site structure using newer tools inside Elementor. This improved how pages load and how they adjust on mobile devices.
We also added extra security features to protect the site.
The result is a faster, cleaner, and more stable website.
The PrePlayed website supports real store activity.
We built custom forms so customers can request items to be added to a reserve list. When items come in, the store can contact them. This connects the website directly to the in-store experience.
We also added an employment form to make hiring easier.
The updated content clearly explains what PrePlayed buys and sells, including:
The site keeps the fun feel customers expect while staying clean and easy to use.
This project means more than just a redesign.
PrePlayed has been with us since day one. From our first website together in 2010 to this new build for 2026, we have grown side by side.
We believe in long-term partnerships. We do not disappear after launch. We continue to support, improve, and protect the websites we build.
The new preplayedgb.com is ready for the future. And we are proud to still be part of their story.
Full Scope Creative has been great to work with. On top of the services they are contracted to provide, as a small Nonprofit without a website professional on staff, Chris is always willing to answer questions & provide guidance when asked. I recommend working with Chris and his team!

Whether a site is a full e-commerce solution or an informational site, the need for making the site responsive is obvious. Odds are, the bulk of traffic to your site will come from smartphone and mobile devices. Because of that, our website designs are all fully responsive and mobile friendly. Google has even stated that they are rewarding better rankings to responsive sites. Our sites are all developed and designed to scale from smartphone to tablet to desktop, all without skipping a beat or losing a user. We provide our clients with websites that are fully functional, have fast loading times, and are optimized for whatever size device a user might be using to browse.

Hosting is one of those behind-the-scenes details that makes all the difference. These are some of the questions we often answer about keeping your site fast, secure, and running smoothly every day.
Moving a WordPress website to a new host means backing up your files and database, uploading them to the new server, reconnecting any plugins, updating the DNS to point to the new host, and thoroughly testing everything to ensure your site works properly on its new home.
DNS records are instructions that tell the internet how your domain name works. They control where your website loads from, where your emails are delivered, and how your domain connects to other services. While they can seem technical, they simply act as directions that help guide traffic to the right place.
Yes, you need website hosting even if your site is built with WordPress. WordPress manages your content, but hosting stores your site’s files and makes it available to visitors. Without hosting, your WordPress site cannot be viewed online. Many businesses choose managed hosting to improve security, performance, and long-term support.
We do not host Minecraft servers or any other games. Our hosting environment is built exclusively for business websites, and game hosting requires resources and configurations that would disrupt site performance. To maintain speed, security, and reliability for all clients, our servers are reserved for website hosting only.
The Elementor page builder recommends a WordPress memory limit of at least 256 MB, with 512 MB being a safer standard and 768 MB or more ideal for more complex sites.
Short answer: no — WordPress isn’t inherently insecure, but many sites built with it become vulnerable because of poor practices rather than the platform itself. The core software is actively maintained and hardened, but when themes or plugins go out of date, or hosting/security isn’t managed properly, that’s where the risk grows.
Technically, yes, you can use your own computer to host a website. But for a small business, it’s almost never a good idea. Your computer would need to stay powered on 24/7, be secured against online threats, and be fast enough to handle traffic. A professional hosting company provides the reliability, uptime, and security your business needs without the hassle.
If you see the “Not Secure” warning on your site, it usually means either your site is loaded over HTTP instead of HTTPS, your SSL/TLS certificate is missing or expired, or some parts of your site are still loading insecurely (mixed content). Making sure your domain uses HTTPS, all links and resources are secured, and the certificate is valid will help restore trust for both users and search engines.
Web hosting security refers to the protections built into the server where your website is hosted. It includes things like firewalls, malware monitoring, SSL certificates, backups, and server updates. These security measures help block many attacks before they ever reach your website and keep your site, data, and visitors safe.
The best website host for small business is one that provides consistent security, fast performance, current software versions, reliable backups, and support that is easy to reach. Many large hosting companies fall short in these areas. A managed hosting provider like Full Scope Creative handles updates, monitoring, and support for you, which keeps your website running smoothly and safely.
The padlock symbol means the website has an SSL certificate installed, which keeps information shared between the site and visitors secure through encryption. It builds trust, improves SEO, and prevents browsers from showing “Not Secure” warnings.
